1. actually 事实上
口语化用法，在表达想法时使用，相当于well。
例句：
Actually, I do not want to eat anything.
其实，我什么都不想吃。

2. play cards 打牌
例句：
Besides, he liked to play cards with me; we would have a smooth transition.
而且，他喜欢和我打牌；这个职位过渡应该很顺利。

3. on the train 在火车上
例句：
On the train a few weeks ago, I sat next to a burly garment supplier.

4. go boating 划船
go+动词ing短语表达有很多，类似的有，go fishing, go shopping, go swimming等。
例句：
Shall we go boating on the lake on saturday?
我们星期六到湖上去划船好吗？

5. in a word 总之，总而言之
例句：
In a word I was eccentric and could not fit myself into everyday life like the ordinary man.
总之，我行为古怪，不能像普通人那样适应日常生活。

6. be different from 与……不同
例句：
May your destiny be different from her.
希望你的命运和她不同

7. laugh sth off 对……一笑置之，对……一笑而过
例句：
This is not something you can just laugh off.
这可不是什么一笑了之的事。
